1.    Air New Zealand- In the year 2000 acquired by Ansett Australia

2.    Air France- In the year 2004 merged by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines

3.    Air Jamaica- In the year 2010, it was acquired by Caribbean Airlines

4.    AirTran Airways-In the year 2010, it was bought by Southwest Airlines

5.    Alaska Airlines- In the year 2016 acquired by Virgin America

6.    America west airlines- In the year 2005 merged with bankrupt with the US Airways

7.    Bulgaria Air- In the year 2010 merged Hemus Air by keeping the name same as Bulgaria Air

8.    Caribbean Airlines- In the year 2010 acquired by Air Jamaica

The common issues in each merger are the series of bankruptcy which made them completely ceased to continue the airline services across the country. The new arrival of competitors the rivals has started with the new competitors. The new competitors have designed a set of rules by lowering the price of the ticket and enabling different routes which made them rule the industry and other existing airlines filed for bankruptcy. This is the reason the existing have been acquired by the competitors and a series of merging took place.
