What do you think must be your part or role in your organization's IT Savvy journey? how can an emerging technology help the organization to gain competitive advantage?

✓ I think that these fast paced changes in technology will impact every department of the an organisation, and to remain successful, it is required that every member must contribute their knowledge and skills. As a part of organisation, my role requires to lead the members, in an environment and culture which drives innovation. Without leadership one cannot fully serve the tech savvy journey of a firm. An individual may be an executive or CEO, he or she must know basics of technology and its implications over the operations of the business. It is necessary that knowledge like cloud computing, digital marketing, HRIS, and other aspects needed to be learnt and adjustment must be made in a changing talent ecosystem.

✓ technology and advancement is predicted to bring bundles of opportunity in the next decade, the emerging trends including internet of things, connected vehicles, wearable devices, 4D printing, robotics, augmented technology, etc will change every facet of the business organisations. These emerging technologies have greater impact in near future and helps in gaining competitive advantage for those firms who adapt them easily and have capabilities to adjust to the changes. Organisations which uses one or more of these technologies for leveraging their strategies will be successful and gain competitive edge in the market. Firms readily adapting and adjusting emerging technologies can expand and grow even in future with many new opportunities. Therefore, these technologies helps to gain competitive advantage not only for today but for the future also.
