NGOs are non profit motive based private organisations which pursue activities that help to reduce the suffering of the poor, protects the environment from exploitation, work towards improvement of poorer health and living standards.

These NGO’s have a positive role towards betterment of society as these could be used as the platforms to government projects to run pilot models, to test them before taking the models in a big way. The non profit motive of NGO, helps to maintain environmental balance along with improving living standards of poorer.
