In any workplace unconscious biases are always present. Unconscious biases affect the workplace in many ways without being notices. The main effects of unconscious bias are that it can influence diversity of a workplace, it can influence Hiring and retention efforts. By definition: Everyone have some sort of beliefs or biases in their personal lives about different social groups. Such beliefs sometimes have some influence on the decision making process in the workplace by creating some stereotypes for certain groups of people. There are formed outside of one's consciousness. Such biases are known as unconscious or implicit bias.
