Answer #1

CSR – It is initiative of the corporations to show its gratitude towards the society and help in the upliftment of the society by various means. This initiative may help to open a school, make the availability of old age home, Community Park, better water availability in an area. It can also be done by opening hospitals etc.

CSR is an important aspect of marketing where companies gain social sympathy from the consumers and locals and hence people start loving their product and in order to support the cause people gets emotionally attached to the product of that company.

There is nothing wrong if sales are boosting due to CSR but doing a CSR activity keeping sales and profit in mind is an unethical practice which is in trend these days.
