  • Due to earthquake, roadways might have been damaged which makes difficulties in transporting the goods through logistics or supply chain management.
  • earthquake may damage the storage area or building which inturn would damage the goods thus it creates financial risk to the companies.
  • Earthquakes might also damage the transporting vehicles thus creates transportation risks.
  • Earthquake may leads to death of labour and brekadowns of machinaries which reduce the workers and machines thus reduce the productivity of the logistics or supply chain management.
  • After the earthquake it is difficult to reach the different marketing location to supply the products. This results in increased transportation costs and eventually reduce the profit.
