The advice I can give to members of other groups are:
In the modern times it is understood that the best way to get a job done is teamwork, a team is a group of people with diverse knowledge, background and skills, they are grouped together to complete a task or set of tasks, in a team there are no superiors or subordinates and everyone is equally responsible for the performance and failure of the task assigned. For the teams to be successful there are a few requirements such as mutual trust and understanding, communication amongst each other, understanding of the problem amongst all and cohesive relationship amongst each other. I would suggest the other group members to imbibe these qualities in them for the overall success of their group. If they are not communicating properly or they not have a relationship based on trust the group will not sustain the pressures it will go through. It is also important that all the group members work with equal responsibility and they should at no point say that this particular task is not my job instead they need to have a proper understanding amongst each other so that no such confusion arises in between.
I too have worked in such groups and what I can share from my own experience which will be beneficial for this group are:
They should share knowledge and information amongst each other, if you share and accept knowledge that is how you can to take up further bigger responsibilities. The group should try to have an out of the box thinking and innovative approach while performing their tasks, this will make the group more efficient and will bring success and fame to the group. The group should look as one and united to other people at the organization this will invite less interference and problems to the group. With co-ordination and joint efforts any group can achieve success and I would also suggest this group to be in close communication with each other through any means such as mail or conference call, this removes misunderstandings and confusion amongst each other.
To conclude I will say that it is true that teamwork is the best way to complete a task but the condition is that it has to fulfil some requirements to be successful.
