In addition to the definition given for managment above, following points should also be added :

• Employees and team members should not be treated only as the resources to getw ork done , but also a major role player for success of the project'
• Emphasis on the collaborative team work should be there , and proper rewards and recognition should be given to the concerned member.
• It is also necessary in management , to take care of requirements of your employees for their, physical, social and mental well being

Characteristics that a good management process should have is :

• transparent performance management system
• training and development of employees
• team building activities to enhance co-ordination among teams'
• Independency to take decisions should be given to employees
