A good vision statement should be short, simple, specific to your business, leave nothing open to interpretation. It should also have some ambition. It should outline what an organization would like to ultimately achieve and gives purpose to the existence of the organization.

In my opinion, the given vision statement lacks a few points like:

  • It does not project a near future of about 5-10 years
  • The goal and success criteria are not measurable
  • Reference to competitors should be added
