Healthcare and improving the quality of care . It was intended to reduce unnecessary health care costs through a variety of mechanisms including economic incentives for physicians and patients to select less costly form of the Health Care.
The overall impact of managed care remains widely debated. Proponents say that it has increased efficiency,improved overall standards and lead to a better understanding of the relationship and quality.
Critics of managed care argue that for-profit managed care has been an unsuccessful health policy as it contributes to higher health care costs.

Healthcare management is ofcourse very useful for patients as well as physicians to access to quality health care services at an affordable price.
