Enterprise and Organistion
An enterprise is a social anatomy defined by its value, mission, vision goals and its commitment towards the society, whereas an oragnisation is a place where organised structure includes organised people defined by rules, roles and responsibilities.
An Enterprise is relatively larger in scope than just an organisation. Both the terms appears to be similar but there is huge difference between the two. An organisation is basically a group of organised people formed for ]a specific object or purpose, whereas an enterprise is basically a business concern, involving a partnership business, wherein people join hands with each other and runs a business huge amount of capital is involved and the profits and loses of the business are shared among the partners in their capital contribution ratio in pro-rata basis i.e. when the partner join the business till the point the profit or loss is calculated, number of months he devoted into the business etc, not necessary a single puropse, can be for multiple purposes. Both the terms can't be used interchangeably, if used then it can disturb the whole enterprise architecture. An enterprise may be considered a father where as an organisation are the children. An enterprise may involve different types of activities such as:- manufacturing, trading, or legal services etc. An organisation involves various types of skills such as leadership, communication, etc. There is a hierachy from the lower level to the top managerial level. People for different communities, backgrounds, caste, etc jin hands together and runs an organisation. Main motive of any business concern is to earn profit, and if in any business concern there is no profit then the enterprise needs to be shut down. An entity is considered to be a sick entity if it does not have profit since last three financial years.
(A financial Year- 01/04/2017-31/03/2018)
An enterprise Architecture mainly involve:-
A business derives its information from various sources :- first is the primary source of information and second is the secondary source of information. Primary source of information is where the information is gathered from the owner/ the subject concern itself and the secondary information is gathered from the social media, magzines, newespapers, etc, after this it is encoded and it prescribes the data which is supported by applications and with the help of technical application/expect the data is transformed subject to the need of the organisation then it is decoded.
While carring out any business, an information is most important asset which needs to be taken care of:-
Structural and Cultural Aspects
Structure is the hierachy in any business concern, basically there are two approaches one is the top-down approach and the othe one is bottom-up approach. In top-down approcah a message is sent by the top most person and it is to be transmitted to the bottom level, there are chances thet the whole meaning of the message is changed by the time it reaches the bottom level because there are too many levela involved in transmission and people belong to different communities, background, etc therefore sometimes there are confusions in listening etc. and in case of bottom-up approach the message is transmitted form the lower level to the top most members, care is to be taken that while comunication wrong message/ meaning is not communicated to the receiver, therefore sometimes a message is encoded and decoded so that a stanger should not able to understand the message, because in business information is most important asset and if leaked it will demolish the whole purpose.
Culture is the kind of our behavious, our thinking, our actions, and the way we communicate the things to other, our leadership skills, managemebt skills, problem solving skills, our education, our family background, etc. Culture plays a very important role because our personality, how we speak to ane another whole depends upon our culture, the way we work. A Culture of Enterprise Architecture if focused by Corporate governance and the performance appraisal.
Misson, Vision and strategy are the three basic tolls which needs to be focused upon. Potential stakeholders for the Enterprise Architecture Program are the Board of directors, head of the department, project manager, software developer, consultants, Business unit heads, internal and extenal auditoes and most importantlt its shareholders, i.e the people who has invested money in the business concern, its creditors, etc. Shareholder always expect some amunt of dividend from the profit earned from the business. In case of liquidation, first priority is given to the preference shareholders, then the creditors, then the government dues are paid the the remaining part is distributed among the equity shareholders.
Strategies for Gaining Stakeholder
