Work?life balance is going to be a little biased in favour of work especially for baby boomers. Their age is a huge factor in this process. We all know that a younger employee can work a lot more hours than say an older employee. These odds are not good and considering how company always cares about the actual throughput and not the quality of work, the stress on baby boomers would be immense. On top of that, the increasing competition leaves no stones unturned as well. Companies will be hard pressed to provide working opportunities to the baby boomers who, therefore, need to be able to prove their value to a business and therefore, needs to be able to work more than they are required to by the law. This is due to the competitive industry and abundance of labour.
