Q. Are people or processes more important in the Lea manufacturing?
This is a very interesting question, some would choose people, others would choose Processes and there would be a third opinion which would support that both are equally important. However, I believe People are more important in a Lean manufacturing.
It's the people who make processes, and if processes are bad it's again the responsibility of people to improve them. Thus if proper time is invested in people, and under good guidance and training people can always make strong processes, making the whole system strong.
So, the first part is always the people, who run the processes and make the processes. If people are given more importance, then good processes would automatically come out of disciplined minds and strong calculative behaviour of people.
