Answer #1

Citizenship Behaviour

This is an individual behaviour in which any person or individual engages in such a task that does not come under his or her daily routine but it can eventually help the organization or any firm to increase its productivity and quality this kind of behaviour is known as citizenship behaviour. This type of behaviour is mostly not a recognized behaviour and is always seen as voluntary help or support.

Now let us discuss how can any organization generate citizenship behaviour

  • The most important and crucial driver that can generate citizenship behaviour within the organization is to help and motivate its employees. We can only expect this behaviour from our employees when they are happy working with us and they are fully appreciated for the work they are doing for the organization.
  • Creating a bond and a strong relationship with our employees plays a vital role in generating and increasing citizenship behaviour among our employees. Casual interviews about their work and experiences with the organization will create a sense in their mind that leaders of the organization care for them and want to improve our skills and knowledge.
  • Appreciating them and rewarding them will motivate the employees to keep working the way they are and will also push other employees to learn about the citizenship behaviour and what are the benefits of these voluntary acts.
