Writing Bad newsletter
Scenario
Assume that you are the owner of a small company, Sokuma. Last week, you had a conversation with one of your best clients with whom you are on very friendly terms. He has suggested that you use his daughter to update your web site and your logo. This suggestion was totally unsolicited. You are happy with your web site, and you have no desire to change it. This unsolicited offer arose after an informal conversation that opened with the seemingly innocuous question: How is your family? The conversation came round to the fact that your client’s daughter had just recently graduated from a media design program at the local community college and was looking for work. A week later, an unsolicited letter from your client’s daughter appeared in the mail. She is offering to re-design your website at a very affordable price. However, you do not want to change your website, but you also do not want to offend one of your best clients.
THE TASK:
For this assignment, you must write a letter that rejects the offer made by your client’s daughter, but you must also seek to maintain a good relationship with your client. Thus, you must deliver a bad newsletter.
Dear Client
Thank you so much for your concern and for this wonderful offer at very reasonable price but I was not thinking to change my company logo and to update website. So give me some time to think about it and if I think that I should update my company website and change my Company logo, I will give this work only to you but as of now I don’t want to want to change my Company logo and update my Company website. I have saved your details so that I can contact you in future.
Thanking you
Regards
Sokuma
