How is technology like Twitter, Prezi, or screen capture, like Kahn Academy uses, changing the way that people learn? How you could use the concept of "flipping the classroom" in your workplace or classroom? please be specific with your example
Answer: The new technologies like Twitter, Prezi and screen capture are making the learning process active, interactive and engaging. The platforms like Twitter facilitate interactions between the students and the teachers and enable learning in a social context. Similarly Prezi helps in presenting the content in a better visual format. Screen capture can be use for capturing the screen shots for later reference. Thus all these technologies are changing the ways in which learning process took place earlier and making it easy and better. They are basically adding value to the process of leaning and facilitating it. They are different from the one way learning of the past and making learning interactive and two way process. The teachers can also use these tools for creating a better cognitive learning process.
The flipped classroom learning is a strategy that provides instructions and information through active learning and student engagement. This can be used at my workplace for training and development purpose. Instead of traditional classroom training, the people can be shown lectures on the topic and then they can be engaged in a discussion and collaboration through online tools like discussion forums.
