Question

functions of the reflex arc

functions of the reflex arc

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Step 1:- there are some components of reflex arc.

  • Sensory receptor
  • Sensory neuron
  • Inter neuron
  • Motor neuron
  • Effector organ

According to the components of the reflex arc there are different functions spinal neuron.

1) Through the sensory receptor - it receives the information .

It generates impulses in the neuron.

2) Through the sensory receptor - it carries the information from the receptor to the interneurons in the spinal cord.

3) Through the inter neuron - it processes the information to the spinal cord.

It's generates the responses.

4) Through the motor neuron - it carries the information from the spinal cord to the effector organ.

5) Through the effector organ - it receives the information from the efferent neuron .

Also it's show the appropriate responses the neuron.
