One of the main reasons is the depression and that can be caused by the adolescent and childhood abuse. This depression leads to the neuronal damage and cause the person to suicide. Another reason is substance abuse like alcohol and drug abuse. Social media is a big platform to connect with each other and the main con of social media is comparison with each other especially in teenagers. If the levels don't match to the other person then teenager might get stressed and lead to suicide.

These are the main reasons for increased rate of teen suicide.
