Systems thinking; a holistic approach for analyzing that focuses on the way a system's constituent parts interrelate and how they work over time and within the context of larger systems has been used to address to warn of the dangers posed to children and adolescents by electronic cigarettes and this has been based on the study done by a coalition of respiratory doctors and scientists from six continents of the world. A collaborative of nine organizations from North and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia created to promote lung health worldwide; the Forum of International Respiratory Societies adopted a Systems thinking the approach to address this issue.
