Why is it important for health navigators to be aware of infectious and non-communicable disease? What use with the knowledge of these diseases in this field since it is not a medical provider's position and could take the navigator out of scope?

Answer- Health navigators works in collaboration with primary care provider and all the members of health care teams so a basic knowledge regarding the role of microorganisms in case of infactious disease these health navigators works under directions to perform complex duties, consultation and case management to prevent and monitor communicable disease within the community since health nevigators are the helalth care professionals who have the most consistent day to day contact with patients it is crucial that they adhere to standard infection control and transmission based precautions in case of infectious disease.
