Using social distancing to test if technology can solve the loneliness epidemic by Dr. Nicole Van Groningen is current issue oriented article. The major public health challenge Covid 19 can be prevented by social distancing. Social isolation among people can cause certain physical and psychological illnesses. People who are in socially isolated are more prone to get depression, obesity, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal problems. According to Dr. Nicole intentional connection of social technology is the best way  to overcome loneliness. The author put forward some measures to enhance digital interactions by video & audio technology, artificial intelligence chat bots & robotic pets to reduce loneliness. In case of this pandemic disease ( Covid 19) to optimize technology to enhance our social health.
