1. Explain the steps of how Albert Bandura’s Social Learning Theory Works.
Social learning theory of Albert Bandura is the learning theory associated with the social behaviour in which he focus is on the behavior of human that are regulated by the observation , irritation and modelling .
This theory helps alot in education system and make the students to learn alot , as it includes the social modelling to motivate the children and make them excited to learn new behavior from their surroundings and keep the positive side and consequences high .
The steps of this theory are four which are discussed below that how Bandura theory works ,
1) Attention - This step involves the behavior of a person must catch the attention of learner to further notice the behavior and any observational changes in their learning . The environment is the source of leaning , the people learn alot of behavior from their environment and threir daily life . The social context of a point help the learner to adapt the perception accordingly.
The attention paying is also important to appreciate the behavior and sometime it also respond to the unusual behavior .
2)Retention - It is the capability that how well the someone remembered the behavior of the next person or someone else . It is important in the learning process as if there is no retention than there is no benefit for the behavior and their observations . It is considered to be the internal memory of the behavior that is observed while learning something new . This step of Bandua's theory of learning resembles to the cognitive concept . The process of internalizing the information in the brain , memories and etc .
3)Reproduction - The behavior of the model is executed by this step . If you observe someone and their behavior and you liked it so you defintly want to reproduce the behavior and then execute it . If someone lack the ability to respond the this step and then in the execution , so you will never adapt the behavior you want to admire . Like in play schools or junior classes , children admire their teacher's behavior but still they did not execute it further . This also favors the cognitive concept .
4 Motivation - This motivation is the important toll that help alot of people to motivate them to mimic the behavior they want to execute . Sometime this motivation leads to something that are more valuable than the thing on which the efforts is applied . The kids and children and imitate the verbal and psychical action of the other people they admire .
