1) The political legal environmentis a combination of a lot of factors such as the current political party in power, the degree of politicization of trade and industry, the efficiency of the current government, government policies, current legal framework, the public attitude towards the economy, etc. Countries offer a great deal in diversity not only in culture and economy, but also in political systems. Some countries are thoroughly democratic Ireland and Switzerland require referendums, or votes by the population at large, for issues that many of us in the United States would prefer to just let our legislatures hammer out. Yet other countries, such as Saudi Arabia or North Korea, are particularly more authoritative. However, even within the realm of that authoritativeness or of the democracy of other states, there exists massive differences in how questions of the environment, economy, population tensions, healthcare, and education are dealt with. For many countries, environmental policy is definitely a touchy subject, and other countries around the world are taking a number of different approaches. Some places like Denmark, Germany, and the UK have made investments in green approaches, such as renewable energy and limitation of pollution, a top priority. However, other countries, like China, have done significantly less. That said, one group in China, those who own many of the top polluters and therefore benefit most from a lack of regulation, tends to be pretty happy with the result.
The Ecology of Human Performance framework (EHP) focuses on the relationship between several important constructs in occupational therapy; they are person, context, task, performance, and therapeutic intervention, in order to get a throughout understand of human occupation.
Example for Occupational adaptation, how difficult the
occupation is to perform, and the environmental resources and constraints. If the challenge is too great, or too small, the person may
engage less and less in the occupation. A just right challenge is a challenge that places some level of strain on a person to manage a desired occupation without overwhelming him/her.
