This is one of the challenges of teaching communication skills, The skills needed to speak in front of students and hold class room are diffrent from those needed to solve a problem or engage group discussio ,The frame work for looking at communication is divided in to four distict but interlinked strands,Linguistic - The speaker use of language ,Cognitive- the content of what a speaker syas and their ability to building on, Physical - how a speaker uses their body language,voice and facial expressions,social and emotionnal -how well a speaker listens,include others,The learning is a process of sharing,responding and engaging to new and different ideas. the teacher need to explicit and deliberatly teach many communication skills,the students need to knwo the summary is,they may also need practice judjing when useful to summarize the topic,
