Identify and discuss two new areas of knowledge and/or skills you have learned caring for chronically ill clients and their families? Describe your feelings about caring for clients at end of life. How do these feelings help and challenge you as a caregiver?
Two new areas of knowledge and/or skills I have learned caring for chronically ill clients and their families include supervising of patients, making decisions, solving of problems, providing emotional support and comfort, and coordinating the care. My feelings about caring for clients at end of life include being sensitive to them by being their social convoy and providing them comfort both physical and emotional and taking care of them. Counseling the client and making them hopeful through the use of the spirituality and being sensitive to the religious beliefs they hold.
