In receiving DAAs from the pharmacy the following checks should be made to packaging:

1. Name, and strength and the type of medicine supplied in DAA, so that identification of the individual medicines is done.

2. Directions for the usage of the medicine.

3. Detail of the individual who is packing the medicine in the DAA.

4. Filling date.

5. Date of the medicine which is to be administered.

6. Specific instructions of medicine which are required.

In receiving DAAs from the pharmacy the checks should be made to packaging by the pharmacist,or by the assistant dispensary personnel. and by any trained pharmacy student.
