Serology is study of blood serum and other body fluids, technically refers to diagnostic identification of antibodies in serum which is formed against antigens in our body

There are many practical uses to medicine as serological techniques or tests such as flocculation test, neutralization test, hemagglutinin - inhibition tests, enzyme linked immunosorbent assays ( ELISA)

These tests help to detect disease in patients are very usefull in identifying antibody in patient and diagnosing the disease as serological test help in identifying the problem as antibody in serum show presence of any antigen in body as antibody form against the antigen in body , thus its detection help in diagnostic testing and play important role in medicine
