Infection refers to transmission of disease to a host by invasion of disease causing agent . Patient or individual who are immuno-compromised ,children, elders ,weaker immunity are at high risk of getting infection.

This is highly possible even with mild carelessness in the healthcare sector to get infected or infect others.

For instance : A staff assigned to a MRSA positive patient ,after attending the patient if does not wash their hands due to busy schedule will definitely trasmit infection to others. This is possible by contaminating the surface, equipment ,other non positive patients, devices,staff,etc., Therefore hand hygiene techniques is the most simple and effective method to prevent transmission of infection .
