As a finance person, the company decided to ship the products outside of the state instead of just selling them in local market. (for example, if the company headquarter in New York and wants to start shipping to other states around NY) what should you calculate to see if this will make profit or not? and you only given the Income statment. (give example of formula that should use)

Here mentioned that the firm has decided to ship the products outside of the state. For making an analysis of profit first need to calculate all the taxes imposed by state government for shipping and out of state sales. Then we need to consider the existing price to be charged in other state for our product. Finally all the expenses incurred for sale and shipping.

After ascertaining all values follow the below equation to find profit from other state sale.
