Facebook makes money through Digital Ads, it allows it's users to upload their entire product catalogue and then to target customers who are belonging to different income levels. The ads can be in different forms like Facebook pages, groups, user profiles.

Facebook also generates revenue through it's messenger services , which also displays ads. This allows customers to chat directly with the businesses offering products for sale. Facebook also brings virtual reality, which provides access to different parts of the world, without internet connectivity. This will also provides future revenue to Facebook due to greater usage. Small businesses like doctors, lawyers, cafes , boutiques and others are also responsible for a large amount of Facebook’s revenue generated by the advertising platform provided to them through Facebook.
