A little boost to the self confidence of the person is required. Keep in mind the fact that one has been shortlisted for the inyerview based on certain criteria and there must be some qualities that the person possess which the interviewer is looking for. Thus, there is no need to worry and go blank. If a person needs to highlight the fact that he or she deserves to be selected. If the answer is known then the person should maintain his/her calm and composure and reply to the question asked. If the answer is not known then one should accept that the answer is not known.
