Abundant natural resources such as minerals, ores, forests, rivers are indeed a blessing to the country but they aren't the only things that are necessary for the healthy sustenance of an economy on the whole and also technological advancement for the manufacturing and effective use of resources should be required. Consider the case of African countries which are blessed highly with resources but due to lack of technological advancement they are still in the developing state and considering the state of Japan which isn't blessed much with resources but due to technological advabadvanc, it is still on the high node all in all.
