Performance Management Is Two Things-

Homework Answers

Answer #1

Marcus Buckingham is British author and businesses consultant. He is a global researcher on performance and pioneering how people work.

Performance management is made up of two things /aspects, namely 1. Performance acceleration and 2. Performance measurement.

1. Performance acceleration :- This problem is relating to team leaders, how they get more performance from their team members. Goals and feedback don't help to solve this problem. Solutions of this problem is simple, team leaders taking to the team members about near future work.

2. This is the second aspect of performance management. This problem is relating to team leaders, how they measure performance of every single member with in organisation.

Both the challenges to be solved separately. We can't use the same tool to solve them.
