Although there are many perspectives in psychology such as Psychodynamic, Biological, Evolutionary, Cross cultural etc., I like Behavioral perspective and humanistic perspective more than the others..
Behavioral perspective emphasizes more on the learning ability of organisms when a right environment is provided. It thus stresses more on the observable behaviors and not on the mental processes. It focuses on the classical and operant conditioning methods to teach and modify new behaviors. Pavlov (classical conditioning) and Skinner are the two most important people who advocated the behavioral school.
Humanistic Perspective stresses on the need for motivation in one’s thoughts and behaviors. It believes that if a person is motivated properly, the person can achieve new heights. It’s about identifying and using the complete human potential. Abraham Maslow and Carl Rogers are the two most important people in this school of thought.
