Social Media is becoming an integral part of health care, In this technology driven era , where everyone has an access to social media it is impossible to think that any employer or employee in health care setting is staying away from it's use -

POSITIVE ASPECTS -

1. SPREAD AWARENESS AND EDUCATE PEOPLE -. Today both patients and physician can interact on social media and spread awareness about diseases and other health related Information and educate peoplewhat precautions would be taken.. like In 2020 , during COVID -19 crisis many Health care organization are spreading awareness about precautions to be taken like washing hands, wearing masks.

2. It improves quality of life and reduce Health problem - Being active on social media , patient can have face to face discussion with professional, some sites allow patients to upload Information about their condition through Personal Health records and get access to 24/7 Health care facilities.

3. It helps in health care professional Training and through social media they can share and opinion from other professionals which leads to collaboration.

4. It allows government agencies to Control , monitor the functioning of health care organization.

NEGATIVE ASPECTS -.

1. Spread Misinformation or Rumours- Social media is a platform which allows everyone to share whatever they want , which may harm the health care facilities and may spread Misleading Information which may have negative impact on people and health care professionals. like during COVID 19 crisis many Misleading Information are spread through social media which spread many rumours.and mislead people.

2. Violations of Norms -. Misuse of social media man gives users to expose to privacy violation and intrusion, it may also lead to hacking of health care records and user data can be stolen ..hackers may hack the delicate Health care data which may cause harm to health care setting and patients care.

3. It may also harm employment stability or future employment opportunities.

4. It may push people to waste their time and it's exercise use may lead to medication errors.
