Ans. Antibiotic resistant may be defined as the process by which the bacteria or microorganisms develop a resistance property toward a particular medication.

The spread of the microbial resistance spread can be reduced by the following way:-

1. Don't use antibiotics to treat the viral infections.

2. Never use the left over antibiotics.

3. Use antibiotic when they are prescribed by the health worker.

4. We have to prevent infection only by washing hands, preparing food hygienically, avoiding close contact with sick person etc.

5. Always follow advice of health worker when using the antibiotics.
