Each boat has an identification number, name, price, and type (sailing‐, motorboat, etc.). Furthermore, Mohammed stores the customer’s name, phone, and address. Every rental has a number. A boat is rented from a certain date and time to a certain date and time. The status stores the information on whether the boat has been returned or not.

Q1) The following sheets can be prepared for maintaining customer details which will help in designing ERD:

A) Customer Information Sheet - In this sheet, we can start saving Customer details like Name, Phone number, Address and Rental number.

B) Rental Information Sheet - This sheet will help us to find the data of the boats rented and returned with the fields Rental number, Rental Date, Rental Time and Status (Returned / Not).

We have a common field Rental number to map the data.
