If you were advising the athletic director at CAU, what budgeting advice would you provide?

Ans. I would probably advice the atllhletic director to hire less number of coaches but to prefer the ones with good experience because quality matters over quantity. If you have good quality coaches even 5 are enough, but if they are not skilled enough and experienced, then even 10 are less.

So ultimately hiring less number of coaches would definitely help lowering the costs.

Eg , Suppose currently there are 15 coaches in the department and the salary of each is $ 50000 that makes a total of $750000. But if we lower down the number of coaches to 7 and raise the salary to $70000 because they are the experienced ones, so it makes a total of $ 490000.

So ultimately we save $260000.
