Give one fact why Germany is better off after the pandemic

Answer #1

The effect of COVID-19 (pandemic) is devastating throughout the world – both in health and economy.

But still few countries are able to manage this issue; country-G is one of them.

The fact: the country had budget surplus in last 8 years. Since 2012 to 2019 these budget surpluses are 0.01%, 0.04%, 0.58%, 0.94%, 1.18%, 1.24%, 1.87%, and 1.45% respectively on respective GDPs. This fact indicates that the country is financially strong, since there is no outside burden of paying earlier national debts. Therefore, now due to pandemic, the government can take loans (from IMF or World Bank) and finance in order to stabilize the economy.
