Answer #1

Yes, there is a direct connection of income with the determinants of health. So, whenever the income of an individual increases the expenditure on health services like education, employment, housing etc. increases. With the growing income, an individual sometimes also invests in these as a status symbol. All of this can also be seen as having a causal relationship with the basic lifestyle that one should have. With it a person can better afford the health benefits and options that are available in the market and get rid of the diseases whenever they come along.

Similarly, income allows a person to upgrade his housing facilities and spend more on a lavish lifestyle. These days poverty is seen as directly related to all the diseases and deaths due to it. Due to a good income , you can better spend on food quality education and have better employment opportunities as well.
