FAMILY is the building block of the society. Conducting sociological research on family in future can help to analyse the problems in soceity. Many families join to build a society. Family is the important place which moulds up an individual into a good human useful for family, society and mankind. Any changes in family pattern may have a big influence on an individual which would induce antisocial behaviours like drug addiction, alcohol dependence, eating disorders ,etc. Family members are role models for their future generations. So conducting qualitative and quantitative sociological research and observing may help to solve many complex problems in the world .

Alcohol and drug abuse are the most social issues which are to be resolved in present. So investigating these issues will be very necessary.
