Required conditions below
For the lecture Database Management System

You want to establish a Student Society (i.e. IEEE Student Branch, or Robotics society). You want to develop a software to make life easier (for more than one student societies). Below are the requirement for establishing a database design for a generic Student Society management software:
- System should allow arbitrary number of student societies
- Each student society should have a unique name
- Each student society should have one advisory member (academician, a faculty member)
- Advisory member can be responsible for only one student society
- Some students will have managerial roles in student society
- Students can be members of more than one student society
- Student society can establish activities (such as seminars, workshops, or trainings)
- System should store the attenders to the established activities
- Student society has an annual budget which can change yearly (in our university it is 10000 $ for now)
- Student society can spend money from this annual budget for the established activities
- All the money transactions and their reason should be stored

A conceptual ER diagram uses six standard symbols. They are:

1. Entities are objects or concepts that represent important data. Also known as strong entities or parent entities, these entities will often have weak entities that depend on them.
2. Attributes are characteristics of an entity, i.e. many-to-many or one-to-one.
3. Relationships are associations between entities.
4. Weak entities depend on another entity.
5. Multivalued attributes are attributes that can have more than one value.
6. Weak relationships are the connections between a weak entity and its parent.
