Homework Answers

Answer #1

There are many requirements for steel erection safety. The two of the major requirements are:

  1. Fall Protection : Develop a fall protection program before starting steel erection. Include all phases of steel erection in the program and eliminate, to the extent possible, employee exposure to fall. Provide a training program to all the involved employees.
  2. Proper Connection : All the bolted or riveted connection should be made properly so as to enable them to take load of superstructure.
