they lead to the mental disorder, they damage the liver, lungs, kidney etc .. exposure for long term may cause some diseases like Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease..long term exposure damages reproductive system and ultimately leads to the cancer...

Hence their traces in the atmosphere are considered dangerous.
