Amoxicillin is used as a penicillin antibiotic to kill bacteria. This is used in treatment of many diseases which is caused by bacteria, these area following:

1.    tonsillitis,

2.    bronchitis,

3.    pneumonia,

4.    gonorrhea,

5.    infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract.

Amoxicillin antibiotic along with clarithromycin (Biaxin) used in treatment of stomach ulcers which is caused by Helicobacter pylori infection.
