How does osmosis relate to global warming?

Homework Answers

Answer #1

osmosis is a type of passive transport; it is the movement of water and concnetrations acrros permeable membranes.

the main equation:

P = MRT

where P is the pressure of osmosis

Osmosis is very important for:

- Concentration of nutrient in the water of the ocean

slightly changes will make species to die since they are not adapted to high/low concnetrations of such substances

the solubility of many gases increases with high T; since T is being increased, the ocean is being attacked by many substances that are now soluble
