Please explain and define Endothermic & Exothermic reactions
How do these reactions relate to global warming?
Endothermic reaction: If the energy (heat) is absorbed during the reaction then the reaction is called endothermic reaction.
Example: If we dissolve NH4Cl in water then heat is absobed by this process. So it is called as endothermic reaction.
Exothermic reaction: If the energy (heat) is released during the reaction then the reaction is called exothermic reaction.
Example: If we burn the fules then heat is released. So it is called as exothermic reaction.
Now a day usage of fossil fuels increases which causes to increase in temperature of the globe. Beacuse all these processes are exothermic processes and they release heat to the surroundings.
