Separating sodium percarbonate from oxiclean solid bleach:
Oxiclean is mixture o sodium carbonate and sodium percarbonate. Bleach is sodium hydroxide and hypochlorite solution. We have to separate sodium percarbonate from oxiclean. For that we have to add oxiclean solid and bleach. Percarbonates are not stable substances. So percarbonate readily reacts with hypoclorite and reduced catalytically to sodium carbonate with the liberation of oxygen gas.
Bond is weak, and breaking of bond is possible by adding water.
