A student measures 15.5 ml of blue liquid in a graduated cylinder and 12.0 ml of a red liquid in another graduated cylinder. She then pours the red liquid into the graduated cylinder containing the blue liquid, and the liquids mix.

C) Will it be easy to seperate the mixture into the red and blue liquid? why or why not?

expected color blue becuase blue color solution volume is more than red color solution

when blue and red mxed there will be  magenta color solution will form but here the volume of blue solution is more so light blue color we can expect

B)

total volume = 15.5 + 12.0

= 27.5 mL

C)

it is not easy to seperate these two color liquids . the reason is that whenever they mix they two will form another colored solution  magenta color so not that much easy to seperate
