Describe how chemistry can be used to explain/predict natural phenomena !

Homework Answers

Answer #1

1) It can be used to describe various chemical reactions happening around our surroundings
and phase changes involved in the reaction for example formation of steam or water vapor.
2) It can be used to predict the energy of the system by using various thermodynamic principles.
3) In similar fashion pressure, temperature, volume and various other parameters can be studied
4) The ages of rock to the ages of the fossils and soil can be known by carbon dating methods.
5) In fact the origin of the universe are put forward as many theories, laws and thesis by studying
the structure and the origin of the atom.
6) Each phenomena occuring around us can be explained by certain scientific models to
explain and predict the behaviour. Example : prediction of weather based on water cycle,
prediction of soil behaviour based on nitrogen cycle.

a. Explain how to interpret the numbers in this model. Predictive analytics is used to predict the future by reviewing historical data, looking at patterns and relationships of the data then applying the relationships. This allows the bank to predict the balances by applying the numbers in the formula. This problem has three variables. Those variables are age, years of education and household wealth. b. Suppose that a customer is 32 years old, is a college graduate, and has a...
